Dejamobile product presentation: ReadyToTap Payment for Merchants

Dejamobile ReadyToTap Payment for MerchantsReadyToTap Payment for Merchants is a white label solution that makes it possible to provide merchants with the ability to accept contactless payments on standard NFC tablets and smartphones.

Dejamobile CEO Houssem Assadi and chief sales officer Eric Le Tréhour joined NFCW’s Sarah Clark from France for this 19-minute product presentation and interview. In the presentation, they explain how the solution works, discuss its key benefits and examine the market potential of the new technology for both small and large merchants around the world.

Mass market adoption is expected to occur very quickly, Assadi says, due to the cost-effectiveness of the solution, the rise in consumer adoption of contactless payments due to Covid-19 and the wide array of value-added use cases the technology enables.

As well as providing small and micro merchants with the ability to accept contactless payments without needing to invest in dedicated hardware, Dejamobile’s solution also provides a cash register and product catalog function, a sales and activity dashboard and an optional loyalty module that supports both coupons and rewards, Le Tréhour explains. QR payments acceptance is also available.

The solution also offers a low-cost way to provide sales representatives in larger retail stores with an in-aisle checkout solution and can also act as a backup for existing POS devices, Le Tréhour says. It can also be used to simplify the provision of payment solutions to merchants at events such as festivals and conventions.

ReadyToTap Payment for Merchants is available now, ready for full commercial deployments in the fourth quarter of 2020 or early 2021. It can also be used today to perform pilots under the Visa and/or Mastercard umbrellas.

The presentation was produced by NFCW and is sponsored by Dejamobile.
