Contactless and mobile payments survey results

Contactless and Mobile Payments survey resultsThis 17-page survey of 1,087 US consumers and 683 consumers in the UK and Australia presents the latest findings on consumer behaviours and perceptions around contactless payment.

Surveying and analysis for “Contactless and Mobile Payments” was carried out by market researcher Creative Strategies and the findings were presented at an event hosted by NXP during the Money20/20 tradeshow in Las Vegas in October 2016.

The research reveals that contactless payment systems remain largely unfamiliar to US consumers, despite a high level of satisfaction with the technology’s speed, convenience and ease of use.

Adoption of contactless card payment is high in Australia and the UK, but mobile payments remains limited, the research finds.

It presents figures and market comparisons around adoption, perception of security of different payment methods, intention to use, usage frequency, consumer satisfaction, reasons for non-use and perceived barriers to use.
