NFC technology: How changing consumer preferences create new opportunities for retailers

NFC Technology: How Changing Consumer Preferences Create New Opportunities for RetailersThis 26-page white paper presents the results of an in-depth consumer preference study conducted by independent research firm Strategy Analytics for the NFC Forum.

The study included both a web survey and an observational research element that provided consumers with the ability to evaluate NFC, QR codes, and Bluetooth beacons in a variety of in-store retail scenarios.

The white paper also details six retail scenarios that were found to provide retailers and brands with opportunities to successfully use NFC during the customer journey to improve in-store experiences, generate more sales, and enhance customer loyalty and trust.

It also provides numerous statistics, charts and graphs — including the key finding that more than 75% of the consumers who participated in the study were “very satisfied with their experience” of NFC.

This white paper is produced and sponsored by the NFC Forum, based on observational and survey research performed by Strategy Analytics, and is approved by the NFC World+ editorial team.
